stay(s) with the Research Group
01.02.-31.07.2016
Research focus, presentations and publications during stay
During his stay in Jena, Faisal Garba will work on the implications of social and political (non)incorporation of migrants in Germany. Using the case of precarious African migrant workers, he traces the vex relationship between the entrenchment of an inward-looking political community and democracy in the present era of capitalist social crisis.
